Over the past two years, JOIN RITE Canvas Stretch’rs have been installed in many shops and factories in the U.S. and Canada . In 2011, Europe and Australia have been introduced to these neat machines with equal success. Shown below is a 36” wide machine with its 3 pushers in place. All movements of this purely mechanical machine are done with the lever arm. These machines are actually faster than air-operated machines on the market today, and are more accurate for precise positioning of canvas to stretcher bars when doing gallery wraps. Factories as well as framers find these machines to be highly effective, adjustable and up to the task for fast and easy stretching or quick and accurate stretching of today’s digital prints on canvas.
